A Fair Trade Holiday is one in which at least 50% of the package’s bed nights are spent in Fair Trade Tourism certified or mutually recognised properties and can include certified activities as well.
The holiday packages have been provided by Tour operators that are approved by Fair Trade Tourism. They support responsible travel in Africa by promoting Fair Trade Tourism certified tourism products and by packaging and selling the holidays.
In these holidays at least 50% of the bed nights or activities featured are spent at certified tourism establishments or those certified by a mutually recognised certification scheme in Africa.
