This day is dedicated visiting Amber Mountain, this is the first National Park of Madagascar. Created in 1958, the National Park of the Amber Mountain is located in a volcanic area and is the home of a fantastic rainforest, preserved from any human influence and where a lush and complex flora and fauna developed.

Discover the many waterfalls such as the Antomboka, the Antakarana; the sacred waterfalls and the Mahasarika Lake, and you will understand why the National Park is considered as the water tank of the region.

The visit inside this paradise for birdwatchers gives you opportunities to find lot of birds such as Malagasy kingfisher "Alcedo vintsioides". Here, you can find reptiles as well. And last but not least, it is home of lemurs (Sanfordi brown lemurs, Crowned lemur etc) and little carnivorous animals ( Ringtailed mongoose Galidia elegans or the " fosa " Cryptoprocta ferox ).
