After an early breakfast, we walk on a flat trail, and we take a gradual ascent for half an hour that leads to Parvati Kunda. Parvati Kunda is a pristine fresh lake that's popular during Janai Purnima festival where thousands of pilgrims are attracted to the sacred pond and the nearby temple.

From there, we walk up through the beautiful forest of pine and oak trees to Yurikharka where we stop for lunch. After that, we continue to ascend to the Khurpu Danda Pass (3,610 m) and follow a steep descend to the Somdang River for half an hour.

Eventually, we cross the motorway and continue to follow the dirt path till Somdang. We stay overnight in a teahouse.
