What can I see in Amboseli National Park?

Amboseli National Park is renowned for its herds of wild African elephants that wander freely throughout the park. More than 900 elephants inhabit the park, while other animals such as giraffes, African lions, monkeys, hyenas and antelope can also be spotted.

You can also meet the Maasai people and enjoy breathtaking views of Mt Kilimanjaro. The landscape is as diverse as it is striking and embodies five main wildlife habitats which include: open plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush country, swamps and marshland. More than 370 bird species can be found in the park which covers a distance of 392 kilometres.
