In May 2020, our Founder Alexandra Pastollnigg gave a guest lecture at the GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) Training to share her experience and our best practice example.
As part of her lecture, she explained the link between our sustainability crisis and our financial system to advocate for system change. To solve for sustainability, we need to fix two fundamental governance failures to remove conflicts of interest from our global corporate system:
- Sustainability MUST become a fundamental part of company objectives, alongside profit, and
- Sustainability audits MUST become mandatory.
