Empakai Camp is located right on the edge of Empakai Crater, with spectacular views looking into the crater. It is a truly special, unique location and a great spot for bird watching. It is also the starting point for The Great Rift Valley Trek (Empakai to Natron).

The camp is based in a serene location far away from the crowds and is ideal for those wanting to hike the Great Rift Valley Trek. For others, the camp is an off-the-beaten-track option for the Ngorongoro highlands. The accommodation consists of tents, with cosy and comfortable beds, and includes an outside toilet and shower unit
