What is the climate in Kenya?

Kenya’s climate is divided into four climatic zones: mountain, highland, arid and coastal. The coast produces a pleasant/tropical climate that can be warm and humid. However, the heat is moderated with monsoon winds that provide a pleasant relief from the heat. Kenya’s northeast regions are mountain and highland, with temperate conditions. Rainfall is seasonal, with the rainy season falling between April and June while the shorter rainfalls occur between October and December. The rest of the year is dry season, with arid conditions.
