What is Ecotourism Kenya?

Ecotourism Kenya, formerly known as the Ecotourism Society of Kenya, was founded in 1996 and was the first ecotourism society in Africa. It promotes responsible tourism practices and is a leader in the fields of voluntary tourism certification, and community asset building through tourism projects. Ecotourism Kenya also provides relevant and practical guidance for attaining sustainable solutions to challenging issues in tourism development to both communities and tourism practitioners.
