It is customary to tip your crew on safari and staff at lodges. Even though tipping is not otherwise culturally expected, it is good to leave some loose change at restaurants or in other service situations as well.
Driver Guide: $20-40 per day per vehicle (shared among the guests)
Lodge Staff: $15-30 per guest per night
Cook: $20 per day per truck (only relevant for camping safaris)
